What's up with the chat?

Hi all,

I tried to go to the chat site a couple of times during and following an episode but couldn't locate anyone else around and it even looked like it wasn't the location I'd bookmarked. I really miss being able to live chat with folks about POI -- are there going to be any scheduled chats in the near future? We've got a hiatus looming and I would love to talk POI.

Ah, I admit I've been neglectful of logging on, too. The chat should be up on slashnet still: http://www.slashnet.org/channels/poichat and is always open, but when there's no one else there, you can hear the crickets. XD
So far it's been a fairly organic usage, people just logging in whenever they wanted. And I know that fandom participation has been a tad in flux recently, so that might be impacting things too.

Scheduled chats are definitely an option!
If you'd like to schedule a chat, please feel free! Just make a post about when you want it and if there is a particular topic you want to chat about. :)

Thanks for the quick reply. For some reason, I just had the main site bookmarked and it didn't lead me to your location there. I will fix that.

I'd love to see if others would have time to chat and will think about a topic.

I think there's a bit of an... adjustment period going on in fandom. People are still evaluating how they feel about things. I admit I'm doing that too. Hopefully things will perk up again. :)
I just logged into the IRC chat and will be online for about an hour if you want to chat. :)
